Non-English Multilingual Bible and Christian Resource Links

The Holy Bible is the most translated book in human history. Its translation history spans thousands of years, moving from three
original ancient languages into thousands of modern tongues.
The Original Languages
Before the Bible was translated into modern languages, the texts that make up the Bible were written in three (3) distinct ancient
languages.
Biblical Hebrew: Almost the majority of the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) was written in Hebrew, the language of the ancient Israelites.
Biblical Aramaic: A few small sections of the Old Testament (found in books such as Ezra and Daniel) were written in Aramaic. Aramaic is a
sister language to Hebrew that became the common spoken language of Judea around the time of Jesus Christ.
Koine Greek: The entire New Testament was written in Koine Greek. This was the common, everyday Greek language spoken across the Mediterranean
region under the rule of the Roman Empire, allowing early Christians to spread their message rapidly to large numbers of the population.
Modern Translation Statistics
According to global tracking data from organizations like Wycliffe Bible Translators, massive progress has been made to make the text universally
accessible: Full Bible (Old & New Testaments) is now available is 807 different languages now reaching over 5.7 billion people worldwide. with more
than 1,200 versions accessible online, including text and audio formats.
