BE CERTAIN - Study 1



bibleFor many people who have trusted Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, it doesn't take long before they begin to wonder or have second thoughts.
bibleIt seems hard to accept that one person who lived so long ago could make it possible for you to have a relationship with God Almighty!!!
bibleIt is so easy to doubt - in fact Satan often tempts us to do just that.
bibleIn this study you will look at some verses from the Bible which will help you when this happens.

bibleA good idea! Take one of these Bible passages and learn it off by heart by repeating it over and over again. You are encouraged to learn one verse from each theme in this series.
bibleIn each section a number of questions will be asked. Most answers are in the Bible verses. If you have any trouble please feel free to discuss it.


SECTION 1:

1. Find and read John 20:30-31.

2. Did John write down everything there is to know about Jesus?

SECTION 2:

SECTION 3:

2. What sort of person was Jesus? How does he compare with you?

SECTION 4:

(NB. This is the letter, not the Gospel of John)

** In four places, from different authors, we have been told the same thing. God has sent His Son to deal with our sin and give us life forever with Himself.
** By trusting in Christ to take your sin and accepting Him as Lord and Saviour you can be certain (God has promised it) you have ETERNAL LIFE. (ie. life forever - now and always with God).

In prayer: Thank God for who Jesus is and what He has given you.


SECTION 5: "But what if I sin?"


1. Find and read 1 John 1:9.

2. What do you think it means to confess our sins to God?

** What is the difference being certain can make in my life?
