Paternoster Church
This was built by Queen Helena in the fourth century to recall the Ascension of Christ. Refer to Acts 1 verses 6-11 where Jesus took His disciples to the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day's journey from Jerusalem. Jesus blessed them, commissioned them for their future ministry and then Christ ascended into Heaven where He resides today.
